With that being said, I have one criticism regarding the voice acting: Mega Man's voice doesn't fit. I get whoever did the role probably thought he's meant to sound like a prebuscent chid considering his appearance, but I hear less "10 year old boy" and more "30 year old woman". I prefer MajinV and HyperVoiceActing's versions.

This is a pretty satisying finale, I've got to be honest. It's like the writers knew that the comic wasn't going to be running any longer, so they ended things by reminding us of all the ganes they'll never adapt. It's not fair that the Mega Man license expired after four years. There was so much more story potential, so many more Robot Masters to characterize. And all because of low sales.

So are they going to do the exact same thing they did here to the audio drama that covers X and Zero's final battle with Omega at the end of the Elf Wars? I feel like that could potentially look incredible as it's a subject that is rarely ever treaded in the series outside of what you learn in MMZ3.

I always believe the "boku boy" voice archetype is something that can never be translated into an English dub, but Ben's single-handedly proven me wrong. His voicework in all these clips throughout the fandub was absolutely incredible. It all sounds so natural and fitting for the character.

A character from a recent favorite game of mine - Dohalim from Tales of Arise - covering a masterpiece from a childhood favorite game of mine... What a time to be alive. And they said Dohalim is a bad poet 😅 Amazingly done! This just screams the fanbase's desire for a modern remake, some kind of comeback for the Mega Man Zero series.
